The vertical scrolling advantage

This is the “Quality Scrolled Images” site. Nowadays, there are a lot of high quality images on the internet and many are larger than the monitor. This means most of the images you see are “compressed” to fit the monitor. Because of the compression, details are lost.

To deal with tis problem the images in this site are enlarged in the horizontal direction and parts of the image that cannot be displayed on the monitor because of the enlargement are shown by automatic vertical scroll.
